Marriage and Couple Counselling 

  1. Strengthen communication to increase mutual understanding and harmony.
     
  2. Resolve conflict in a way that leads to deeper intimacy.
     
  3. Understand and value the different needs of men and women.
     
  4. Enhance the joy and passion of sexual intimacy.
     
  5. Identify and replace misbeliefs and negative thinking that contribute to personal and relational stress.
     
  6. Establish healthy boundaries.
     
  7. Survive infidelity, rebuild trust and strengthen the foundation of your relationship.

    Premarital and re-marriage counselling are also offered
     

Family Counselling 

  1. Resolve parent-child conflicts and increase your child’s desire to co-operate.
  2. Successfully manage the Teen years. 
     
  3. Create or restore healthy family relationships among family members of all ages.
     
  4. Build harmony based on healthy, realistic expectations in blended families.
     

Individual Counselling 

  1. Manage anger and/or stress in the home and work environments using skills and insights that empower you to take healthy control of your life. (Letters for court are provided where appropriate and required.)
     
  2. Acquire the insights, skills and emotional support to successfully process the grief of losing a loved one, a marriage, a job or other significant losses.
     
  3. Learn how to increase joy capacity and to quiet, so as to increase coping skills and manage depression and anxiety.
     
  4. Heal from past wounds using a number of approaches.  Where appropriate, I may use the the brain skills of THRIVE to fill in gaps in emotional/relational health and maturity associated with both Type A and B trauma. Type B involves Bad things that happened, for example, wounds from emotional, physical, sexual abuse. Type A involves the Absence of the good things every child needs, for example, nurture, affection, stability, acknowledgment of feelings. Insecure bonds and a lack of joy in the home are also significant.
